Trainer: Dominic DiMattia, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at University of Bridgeport, SUA. Dr. DiMattia was a vice-president of Human Resources for the Fireman Group in New York, has been Executive Director and Senior Staff Supervisor at the Albert Ellis Institute, New York, and has written numerous journal articles and conducted hundreds of workshops and seminars as a corporate consultant and mental health trainer. A member of the American Psychological Association, he has presented papers, lectures, and workshops in Australia, the United States, and Europe.
About this course
The International Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Coaching in collaboration with the International Coaching Institute at Babes-Bolyai University announces a 1 day training course in Cluj-Napoca, Romania on the 22nd of September.
This course can be also attended via online participation. The course is designed to enhance your coaching knowledge, insight and toolset that you offer to your clients. During the course, Professor Ph.D. Dominic DiMattia will introduce you to the main techniques of the cognitive-behavioral coaching for helping managers and employees to increase their emotional intelligence and performance. The main abilities you will acquire are:
• How to apply the evidence-based cognitive, behavioral, and biological techniques in your coaching practice;
• How to adopt different techniques in coaching depending on client’s goals for emotional and behavioral change;
• How to use various techniques for obtaining long-lasting changes in unhelpful and unhealthy emotions or behaviors.
Attendees will become collaborators of the international cognitive-behavioral community and enter our network to aid them in meeting the standards in the cognitive-behavioral coaching field. At the end of the course, registered participants will receive an attendance certificate via email from the International Association of Cognitive Behavioral Coaching.
