“New Frontiers and Advanced Technology in Evidence Based Psychology”

The Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education, “Babes-Bolyai” University (Cluj-Napoca) is organizing the event Science Week “New Frontiers and Advanced Technology in Evidence Based Psychology”.
The one-week meeting has three major components:
The aim of the Science Week event is to bring together top scientists and experts in the field of clinical cognitive neurosciences, clinical psychology, neuroimaging and adult psychiatry, in order to foresee (predict and shape) the cutting-edge theoretical and technical developments in the field of evidence-based psychology. The scientific and educational outcomes of this meeting (white papers, new projects and collaborative networks) are aimed to enrich the research strategy that is currently run on the major research platforms of the Department (www.clinicalpsychology.ro).
Participants – organizers and guests – are scientists and experts from different national and international institutions: Babes-Bolyai University (Romania), Diagnostic Clinic Phoenix (Romania), University of Pisa (Italy), University of California at Los Angeles, (USA), South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (UK), University of Ghent (Belgium), University of London (UK), University of Cambridge (UK), University of Rostock (Germany), National University Maynooth (Ireland).
The main location of the Science Week event is AVALON building (Republicii 37). The launch of the SkyRa platform will take place at Fantanele Street 30. The entire event (e.g., presentations, discussions) will be online videoconferenced and it will be made available to a selected audience (third year undergraduate students in Psychology, master students of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, PhD students etc.).
